Josh Kluewer is a highly skilled litigator with over fifteen years' experience in commercial litigation. Josh's practice focuses on creditors' rights litigation, commercial debt collection, judgment enforcement litigation, commercial litigation, creditors' claims in bankruptcy, fraud litigation, and fraudulent transfer litigation.
Josh's recent representations with his practice Kluewer Law P.C. include:

-Obtained a substantial judgment requiring a debtor to surrender a valuable piece of industrial equipment and pay the creditor's attorney fees. The judgment was affirmed on appeal by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

-Collected a substantial portion of a significant judgment against a debtor that had previously dissolved shortly after judgment had been entered.
-Obtained a breach of contract judgment against a debtor that had failed to make payment on a multi-million dollar promissory note and obtained a fraud judgment against the broker that facilitated the loan transaction.

-Obtained a substantial recovery from a judgment debtor as a result of having filed a lawsuit against the judgment debtor’s affiliated business, where the judgment debtor had previously refused to make payment on the judgment for nearly a decade.
-Obtained a multi-million dollar judgment against a defendant as a terminating sanction where the defendant had failed to provide adequate discovery responses for over a year.
-Obtained a recovery on behalf of an overseas publishing company that had shipped products to California and previously had not received payment for these products.
-Collected a substantial portion of a judgment after having asserted fraudulent transfer claims against the judgment debtor's affiliated entity.

Josh received his law degree in 2006 from the University of Chicago Law School, one of the nation's best law schools. Josh received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in 2001, where he graduated Magna cum Laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Earlier in his career, Josh was a litigator at Weisbrod Matteis & Copley PLLC and at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP.
